Koehler Artworks and Mixed Media Mania are pleased to announce a Juried Art Show this Fall to highlight the work of mixed-media artists.

Eligibility: Any mixed media artist including members of Mixed Media Mania Facebook group. You are welcome to join that group if you like.

Mixed Media Definition: Art that utilizes two or more media, such as charcoal and ink on paper, oil paint and wax on board, encaustic collage, photos and digital painting, or mosaic.

Requirements: All art must be framed or on gallery wrapped canvas/board with wire on back ready for hanging. Max. Height or width is 36”.

Submission process: Artists may submit digital photos of up to 3 works after August 1-5, 2023 via Koehler Artworks website. More details to be added here.

Cost: $25/artist, to be paid during submission.

Judges– Ukwensi Chappell, artist and owner of Gallerie Ukwensi and Gayle Paul, curator at Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center.

Awards: $500 Best in Show, $250 2nd Place, $100 3rd Place, 3 Honorable Mentions.

Sales & Gallery Commission: Please submit work priced ready to sell. The gallery will charge a 25% commission on sales.

Marketing: Accepted artists will use social media to promote the show.

Drop Off & Pickup of art– All selected ready-to-hang art should be dropped off at the gallery August 23-25, from 9AM-5PM. Pickup of art will be from October 9-11, 9AM-5PM. Artwork sent from out of town should include return postage.
